What reason to migrate Sikh to Canada//Sikhs migrate to Canada.


See of India total population , 1.72% are Sikhs. Whereas Canada total population has 2.1% Sikhs. Considering percentage wise, they are more than in India, And  Canada Parliament has more Sikhs then India Parliament. Now the things is what events transpired that Sikhs had to migrate to Canada.

That too in such a big number . In India history, what's the connection between Sikh and Canada. How did this khalostan Movement started outside of India?
 And what are the circumstances that Canada's politicians had to stay quiet about khalistan, see all things started in the year 1897. At the time both Canada and India were control of Britishers. And both were British Colony.
